“We are delighted to announce that Eileen Y. Lee Breger has joined our firm as an attorney in our estate planning practice. Eileen brings a wealth of experience advising individuals, families, and business owners on crafting and implementing tailored estate plans — plans that honor each client’s personal objectives while ensuring the orderly disposition of assets for generations to come.” – Rob Arone
Eileen’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of estate planning, from foundational documents to sophisticated tax minimization strategies. Holding an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, she advises clients on estate tax planning and lifetime gifting strategies, helping families transfer wealth in the most efficient and meaningful way possible. Her approach is both thoughtful and practical; she takes time to understand each client’s unique circumstances before recommending a course of action.
“Known for an approach that is both thoughtful and practical, Eileen is dedicated to helping clients preserve their legacies and make informed, confident decisions.”
Among her areas of particular focus is special needs planning, a field that demands not only legal precision but genuine sensitivity to the complexities families face. Eileen has extensive experience counseling families with members with special needs, helping them navigate planning structures that protect loved ones without jeopardizing eligibility for vital public benefits. She also brings nuanced insight to the dynamics of blended families, where careful planning is essential to ensuring that everyone’s interests are considered and respected.
In addition to her planning work, Eileen represents Personal Representatives and Trustees through the complexities of estate and trust administration, including probate, trust funding, fiduciary accounting, and the preparation of estate tax returns. Clients navigating these often difficult processes benefit from her steady, experienced guidance.
Eileen values a collaborative approach, frequently coordinating with clients’ financial advisors and accountants to ensure that each plan is comprehensive, cohesive, and ready for whatever the future holds. Her prior experience includes positions at Bowditch and Dewey, LLP, and Hutchings Barsamian Mandelcorn, LLP, two well-regarded Massachusetts firms, and she is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Beyond the law, Eileen is an active member of her community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Carroll Center for the Blind in Newton, MA, and is a member of the Special Needs and Disability Steering Committee of MassNAELA. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and traveling with her family to the Hawaiian Islands.
We are thrilled to have Eileen on board and look forward to the depth and warmth she will bring to our clients. Please join us in welcoming her to the team.
Please feel free to connect directly with Eileen if you have any questions.
