Attorney Sofia Martinez-Guasch focuses her practice on estate planning and trust and estate administration, using a personalized approach to help clients meet their personal and financial goals.

Sofia’s practice includes representing young families and multi-generational families in implementing wealth planning strategies, such as prenuptial agreements and family trusts. She advises individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and estate tax minimization strategies. Sofia also represents clients with international backgrounds and foreign assets, implementing cross-border tax-saving strategies to avoid double taxation. Her practice further includes advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and probate administration.

With each client, Sofia takes the time to connect and build a personalized relationship. This allows her to develop a comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique needs, wishes, and family dynamics. Since there is no one-size-fits-all approach to estate planning or administration, Sofia prioritizes guiding each client through alternative strategies and scenarios to help achieve their overall goals.

Prior to joining Orsi Arone Rothenberg Turner LLP, Sofia was an associate at a multi-practice regional law firm and at a boutique law firm in downtown Boston. During law school, she served as a judicial intern at the Essex County Probate and Family Court and held leadership roles as President and Vice President of the Women’s Law Association.
